Hello Sylvie and Michel,

We have been following your blog these past months.
Our thoughts are never far from you. We are also
touched by the number of those leaving comments who have suffered grave illnesses. They, too, are courageous people.Remember that good health is just a short step away. You have done all the hard work and it is behind you.Cannot wait until you are well.

Sylvie, I will start by saying before meeting you in Atlanta I had never read your blog nor saw your site. I did however witness an incredible husband and wife bond. If there were ever a dynamic duo you two are it. You are going to win your lottery. And you will with the help of a great man at your side. I think you sharing this with everyone is courageous as well as generous. Many people will go away feeling better about thier own struggles with the example you have made.I eagerly await the day you announce your recovery. Best wishes and prayers Ken Chandler Havelock N.C.

Sylvie,

Just another quick note. Trust your doctors! Do NOT get talked into "alternative" medicine without checking it out completely!!! Your doctors will be doing everything they can to make sure your treatments fit the type of cancer you have and the best way possible to get this behind you.

I had 18 nodes removed and all 18 were positive for cancer. If just one had been "clean" I'd not have been quite so worried but I'm determined to keep living and beat this thing! Just two weeks ago I was told that I'm finally in official remission! Yeah!!!

Note; get a soft "sleep cap" for when your hair is gone. You'll find yourself freezing without it. It amazed me just how much body heat is lost without hair. I no longer tease bald men for wearing a hat. They do it to keep warm, not just for vanity. And your hair will grow back in very quickly. As for the bald men, they'll just have to keep wearing hats.

Dear Sylvie and Michel:
I have been "away" (moving) and am just getting "caught up".

I am writing this note to you as I pray, cry, and laugh all at the same time - pray that God will cure you totally, Sylvie and that God will give you both strength and courage; cry because my heart is breaking with this totally unexpected diagnosis; and laughing because that is what I think of first everytime I think about you two. Laughing is something, Sylvie and Michel, that is so natural for both of you! You have made countless people feel happy because of your own happiness and laughs! Laughing is good for the mind, heart and soul...so keep it up!

Sylvie, I'm not sure you realize the tremendous help you are providing to others by explaining all the "medical jargon" and sharingthis difficult journey; these speak volumes for the person you are.

I know so many have already written notes to you and are praying for both of you. Be assured you are in my prayers, as well ... and, everyday when I think about you and pray for you, I will also offer a "laugh" for you! Listen for it every day .. and laugh back!

God bless you both. Peace, healing, prayers and blessings ...
